Company Introduction

Maekyung Buyers Guide Corp. publishes the specialized trade magazine 'Korea Buyers Guide' which publicizes quality products around the world.   

'Korea Buyers Guide' is published in the form of 5 magazines, the General Items Korea Buyers Guide and the specialized Electronics (both monthly), Machinery, Automotives and Hardware (quarterly).   

Agent Responsibility

Recruit subscriptions

Assist regional distribution at exhibitions or other sites (distribution to individual subscribers is done by the head office in Seoul via air mail)

Other duties as suggested by the head office

Advantages

90% of the subscription rate goes to you every time you get a new subscriber within your alloted district.
Example: If you obtain new periodical subscriptions for 100 copies of the general edition, you earn US$5,000 per year. (Although they differ from area to area, subscription rates average about $100 per copy, on a yearly basis.)

English leaflets for sales promotion are provided (1,000 sheets).

Nine sales-promotional copies of are offered free of charge every month (3 copies each for 3 magazines).

Recruitment Areas

India, Malaysia, the United States*, Japan, Indonesia, China*, Germany, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Russia, Australia, Vietnam, the UAE, Turkey, Brazil (The countries with "*" mark will have more than two agents selected. Please ask the head office in Seoul for a list of sub-areas in each territory)

Other

Terms on district boundaries and commissions will be discussd via individual negotiations.
Despite the principle of 'One Agent in One Country' an exclusive right for several countries can be permitted.

Discusstion on signing an agency agreement for coutries other than the aforementioned areas is possible.

The agreement will be concluded after individual discussions concerning the more detailed matters of the agreement have been finished.
