The main factory was established in 2001, and approved by KFDA for the manufacturing of IVDD products and also gained ISO13485, CE accreditation and US FDA clearance.
At the moment, the Korean company provides an extensive range of immune ochromatography based rapid one-step tests for infectious diseases & STD for HBsAg, HBsAb, HCV, HIV 1/2, Syphilis and Tumor markers for AFP, CEA, PSA, FOB and Cardiac markers for Troponin I, Myoglobin, CK-MB and other unique rapid tests such as Norovirus, Influenza A&B and HSV2.
It also produces highly sensitive urine pregnancy tests and ovulation tests for professional use and self-testing under its own brand name, BioTracerTM, and on an OEM basis.
In addition, the company is concentrating on developing a Multi-Flex quantitative POCT system using proprietary fluorescent particles and micro-channel chip powered by a pneumatic valve system. This unique diagnostics system that is developed by Bio Focus can be applied to NAT and Immunoassay in the POCT field within a few years.
