NUC Electronics is a manufacturer and exporter of small specialty electrical household appliances for nutrition-minded consumers. Recently, the company captured the spotlight when one of its main export products, Kuvings Silent Juicer, presented at the 2011 International Invention Fair in Geneva was awarded the gold medal and special award, following the previous year for the innovative quality of its patented technology called “J.M.C.S (Juicer Module Comprising System).” This product received a lot of interest from international buyers at a trade fair in Hong Kong as well.
The Kuvings Silent Juicer chews and squeezes vegetables and fruits by low speed, minimizing oxidation and heat, thus hardly affecting their original taste and nutrition, unlike other high-speed juicers.
The low-speed protects flavors and high nutritional content from being destroyed by heat and oxidation. The new juicer invention called Ultem is safe and leaves less pulp, producing up to two times more juice than traditional high-speed juicers do when using same amount of fruits or vegetables.
The Ultem screw squeezes slowly, so there is no breaking down of nutrients or enzymes while retaining the juicer’s natural color. The material for the Ultem screw was also used to make NASA’s space shuttles and is thus very sturdy.
The juicer also operates at 40-50db, compared with traditional high-speed juicers working at 80-95db. It is therefore quiet in its operation but the performance is outstanding thanks to a powerful motor. Although the juicer has a powerful motor developed by the company’s own technology, the unit does not generate much noise or vibration. The rotation wiper also helps extracting with less noise.
For safe use, it has a dual safety switch designed not to operate unless the feeding tube is properly locked on the base body.
In addition, with a self-cleaning feature, it is easy to clean the device. Users just need to rinse the juicer with water after finishing juicing.
