The reliability of Sampyo E&C products was proven by KNR, KTX and overseas railway authorities. Turnout, which is equipment installed in railroads, is specially designed to be a direction indicator for running trains and vehicles at tracks.
Not only does the company manufacture turnouts for general railways and urban railways, but also the company produces turnout for more than 350km/hr high-speed trains among its kinds in the nation.
Established in 1994, the company has succeeded in developing a technology for high-speed trains through establishing ‘a factory for high-speed turnout’ in 1997. Established in 2001, the nearby-based technology research center allows the company to ceaselessly upgrade its technology level for various kinds of turnouts.
Until now, those highest-quality turnouts are applied at nationwide high-speed railway constructions and general railway ones. Starting its export in the 1980s, the company has been enjoyed gradually expanded export volume. In 2011, the company marked a milestone in its export history that it successfully made US$15 million in export contracts to the Taiwan market raising the nation’s railway industry to the level of advanced countries.
Currently some potential foreign developing countries such as Pakistan, Iran, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. are serious customers for its high-end directions indicators.
Actually, Sampyo E&C is the first company to participate in the railway construction work ordered by Vietnam government.
The official of the company said “Based on the competitiveness of the nation’s Number One railroad builder, we successfully made a contract the deal, which will be carried out with the cooperation with Nam Kwang Engineering & Construction. We will domestically make a 100 percent localization of railroad material for high-speed railroad.”
“Substituting Japanese one, our railway technology recently advanced into Taiwan railway construction market - proving ourselves the world’s most competitive railway builder,” he proudly added.
Proving its highest class high-speed turnouts in some domestic high-speed railway including “Honam Express Railway”, the company is spurring up its drive for foreign potential markets.
The company’s widely-certified turnouts are currently contributing to the cost-saving in the nation’s large national project, which means it generates import substituting effect. In line with the massive invest on railway industry worldwide especially after global financial crisis, Sampyo E&C is preemptively responding to such global move by releasing and upgrading technologically global leading turnouts.
