OLED Equipment OLED is a solid-state, light-emitting device using organic materials inserted between
electrodes and using electricity as the power source.
Though OLED has been successfully commercialized, mass production technologies have to be further
developed to improve light-emitting efficiency and lifetime as well as further reducing production costs.
To this end, the company is focusing its resources on developing the technology to produce larger encapsu
lation equipment for OLED which is a prospective next-generation display device.
Since OLED is very easily affected by moisture, largearea encapsulation technology and equipment is very
important in OLED devices. The company¡¯s hybrid encapsulation equipment is based on PE CVD technology,
which has performed well and proven itself in LCD process lines up to the 8th generation. In this way, the
company is doubling its efforts to complete development of reliable and verified technology in cooperation
with domestic and overseas customers.
