Power Plaza was the first company to standardize power supplies of DC-DC and AC-DC converters in the domestic market since it was established in 1993.
Most power companies just offer OEM service with top-down orders from major customers and this limited the growth of these industries.
Since 2008, Power Plaza launched its ‘Electric Vehicle Project’ as an extended application of digital power for the future market. The EV project is also based on Power Plaza’s sincere consideration for Green Technologies and its own ‘Green Policy’ from 2007.
Power Plaza’s pure high-speed electric vehicle, “Yebbujana” is well-known as a carbon full body, one-piece platform and has recorded several remarkable accomplishments such as the Europe tour with the Zero Race team, sponsored by UNEP, and the Korea Guinness Record 503.2km drive range.
There is also an Electric Conversion project with Matiz, Labo 0.5ton, BongoIII 1.0ton truck with Power Plaza’s EV power-train solutions. The world’s first full carbon fiber EV, Yebbujana 2.0 & 3.0 has max. speed of 150km/hr with 150km drive range, and
completed the 2,300km Europe tour in 2010 becoming the first Korean EV on the Autobahn.
The outdated combustion engine, power train is replaced by an electrified power train and battery. This electric conversion definitely helps the customer to save huge amounts of gasoline costs and it produces no more air pollution than previous vehicles and the company takes advantage of recycling of the usable car body as well. Power Plaza has developed this entire power train solution, including the DC-DC converter YPM600W, Power Distribution Unit, etc. and offers new customized solutions.
