OptoNest, Leading Specialty Optical Fiber and Fiber Laser Industries in Global markets

The specialty optical fibers from the OptoNest are fabricated for WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) applications with flat attenuation properties. The attenuation fibers have the potential to offer high reliability and stable input optical power endurance. OptoNest’s attenuation fibers are designed to be used for plug and in-line types attenuators covering from 1250nm to 1650nm with 1~30dB/21mm.
The product’s features are: ideal for WDM communication applications; durable for high-input power; precise control of attenuation range; high attenuation for connector & in-line type attenuators; and high reliability. The applications for the product include dynamic power leveling in optical add/drop multiplexing, CATV systems, optical network equipments, bi-directional systems, and dynamic power balancing in WDM/DWDM systems.
The company’s optical attenuators are manufactured under the quality control throughout whole manufacturing process including IQC, End-face condition, mechanical/environmental characteristics which comply to the international standard Telcordia and passed GR-910 full test. OptoNest has been supplying the attenuators globally based on its distinguished performance.
OptoNest’s fiber laser module is a main component of the high power fiber laser system. It consists of the specially designed optical fiber, the fiber gratings, and the laser diode. The operating output power and wavelength depend on the fiber characteristics. The development of the fiber laser module was completed through extensive research on the high performance fiber laser manufacturing technologies to provide the high quality state-of-the-art fiber laser.
The fiber laser module provides strong amplification, high optical efficiency, and excellent beam quality. In addition, the fiber laser module is available to meet customer specific requirements.
