CORE Electronics’ Iron Powder Core is well suited to the application of energy storage inductors and has a excellent inductance stability under high DC bias condition, with the distributed air gap properties. Owing to its low cost, the product can be an alternative choice to MPP, High Flux or Sendust core.
Among the product’s features are: excellent frequency characteristic (maximum 200MHz);excellent induxtance stability under high DC bias condition; good temperature stability; inductors for High "Q; relatively high saturation flux density; large energy storage capacity; low core loss; and cost-effective design. The product is applicable for output chokes for switching mode power supplies (SMPS), conducted EMI noise filters (AM range), frequency control circuit by SCR, pulse transformers, DC
output/input filters, light dimmer chokes, and precision inductors.
The company’s RF Carbonyl Core is widely applied at desk top PC and notebook PC, PDP TV(resonant circuit), LCD backlight inverter(Resonant Circuit), high power UPS( choke coil); and battery charge(chock coil). The SMD Power Inductor (Matal Molding High Current Inductor) has characteristics including metal molding design; frequency range up to 5 MHz; lowest DCR/uH, buzz noise suppression;and 100% lead free. It is actively applied for PDA/notebook/desktop/server applications, low profile, high current power supplies, battery powered devices, DC/DC converters for power system distribution, and mobile RF repeater. Its electrical characteristics are: all test data is referenced to 25°C ambient; measuring condition: (100KHz, 100mV) ; tolerance of inductance: ±20%; saturation rated current: 20% lower than its initial value; temperation rise current: T=40°C; and operating temperature of from -55°C to 125°C.
The company’s inductor is used at choke coil for SMPS, EMI noise filter, low pass filter for digital amp, PFC filter for PDP TV, DC reactor for PC, power transformer, and high pass filter. Lastly, the company manufactures high frequency soldering iron. It employs high frequency induction heating method that the compensation temperature that an eddy current is abandoned in high frequency coil, and induction heating is fast with working to tip everyone being possible.
