Sambomotos leaped into the development of eco-friendly and smart vehicle systems. To prepare the next step in the future car market, it is improving its competitiveness in the global market, while also strongly increasing R&D investment.
As a part of these attempts, Sambomotos joined the nationally funded project, “Intelligent Green Car”, developing and releasing powertrain parts and infrastructures for electric vehicles.
Sambomotos made operating profits of $2.4 million for the last year, 134% more than the previous year and sales hit $154million, which was 28% up from the same period last year.
To meet the large orders, Sambomotos uses a second plant extended to two-stories for the time being until completing establishing a new plant. Sales goals for this year are over $180million.
