Brestige is a fully comprehensive mammography solution manufactured by Medi-future. Brestige assists not only with reassuring your client of a correct diagnosis but by eliminating some extra test stress by providing the highest quality images with the lowest possible doses of radiation. To achieve their results Medi-future uses a direct conversion detector based upon selenium (a-Se) that generates a direct electrical signal and has the function of converting x-rays to light with no additional steps, in the Brestige system.
Brestige assists with eliminating the stress of a diagnosis in a number of ways. Of course low doses of radiation assist patients to undergo and complete a diagnosis procedure but so do other features of the Brestige system reduce or eliminate stressors. The Brestige field station has a remarkably small head for very comfortable positioning during the procedure. Additional to the comfort provided by the small head, the Brestige system has a smooth and curved detector cover that assists with patient comfort. The overall design of the system was created with women in mind to provide additional comfort and eliminate feelings of intimidation.
Brestige did not compromise on functionality to create their superior and comfortable design either. The Brestige system is comprised of an x-ray tube, an ultra high frequency converter x-ray generator with a switching frequency of 100Khz, an A-Selenium + TFT array digital image detector available in a flat panel and two sizes, 24cm x 30cm(Large type),18cm x 24cm(Small type). The system also has an image acquisition workstation with a storage capacity of 20,000 raw and 20,000 processed images.
Medi-future, the parent company of the Brestige system, has also developed additional breast care systems. These systems are add-on systems to Brestige. The Leadstereo is a sterotactic needle guidance device that detects micro calcifications and very small lesions that are not visible under the ultrasound system. The system is used in conjunction with Brestige to provide a precise location for biopsy needles in regions of interest. But what good is all of this equipment with no means to interpret the images? Thankfully, Medi-future thought of the medical consultant too and created the MammoVU imaging manipulation software system that allows for better interpretation of images. The system also works in conjunction with a reporting system, via interfacing, thus allowing radiologists to make accurate mammogram assessments.
Medi-future engages in comprehensive customer support. Medi-future will install their system for you and the tools and labor for the installation will be provided by the dealer. Remote support is provided by Medi-future after the sale and sales service, via the dealer. To show you how to maximize your gains from the system, Medi-future will provide an on-site training course for a maximum duration of one week. Additional costs such as meals and accommodation for the on-site course should be provided by the dealer. During the warranty period all software upgrades are available to the client for free. The dealer is responsible for the physical conduct of the upgrades but Medi-future will give technical support and training for the upgrade itself.
