Founded in 2010, MAPTech specializes in the design and manufacturing of wireless charging systems and battery systems for mobile devices. The venture released a wireless charging system, ¡°mcloud,¡± aimed at iPhone S, Galaxy S, and Galaxy SII last year.
The users can enjoy the amazing experience of easily charging upon placing their iPhone 4 or Galaxy S on a charging station using the company¡¯s power receiver. The company just completed developing a wireless charging system as an accessory for automobile usage and Galaxy Note in April this year.
The inductive coupling type of wireless charger for smartphones transmits the power wirelessly when high frequency alternative current is passing through the primary coil in a transmitter, and the magnetic field around the secondary coil in receiver creates an inductive current.
This inductive current is regulated and fitted to be supplied to a phone battery. The products have ¡°Qi¡± logo certified by WPC (Wireless Power Consortium) and compatible to use with other products compliant with WPC specification around the world.
Featuring convenient and low power wireless charger for smartphones, it is easily assembled to the rear cover of a smartphone.
