For the past 20 years, Dae Deok Foods has specialized in making Korea¡¯s traditional fermented foods such as soybean paste,
fermented soybean block, soybean sauce, red pepper paste and pumpkin soup. Based on traditional techniques and recipes, the company strives to provide products with taste and flavors just like mother makes at home.
The company only uses home-grown soybeans and materials to make these products; for example, the mae-ju (fermented soybean block) goes through the natural fermentation process, with saline solution added and it is kept in a soy jar in the month of January. After 40 days of fermentation, it is taken from the jar. And it is fermented again for another two months to make soybean paste.
