Combining its leading-edge technology with trendsetting designs, the company has come up with Sammi OvenCook, which can bake and roast food like an oven does. It allows heat from the bottom to spread up the sides to reach the lid, so heat is evenly distributed within while baking or roasting food.
Particularly, foods that have moisture inside - for instance, chicken, potatoes and sweet potatoes - can be roasted or baked without using additional water, just by using the moisture inside foodstuffs. In addition its unique structure where heat is evenly throughout the bottom, sides and the lid produces little convection movement. Therefore, soup or broth inside the OvenCook does not overflow.
Since the temperature on the bottom remains constant, foods do not stick on the cooker and it does not get burnt. Applying the company¡¯s proprietary coating and hardanodizing technology, the cooker features ceramic coating, ensuring long-time use.
The cooker¡¯s outer layer is made of hard-anodized fine alumina, which turns shiny black from one additional treatment, while as the patented layer of air lay between the inner and outer shells allows this cookware to heat evenly to bake like an oven and not burn or overflow. The inner layer is made of the best quality 304 stainless steel.
Sammi OvenCook was aired as a novel product on nation¡¯s state-run broadcasting company KBS. Sammi also won the ministerial prize in 2008 and both the gold prize and special prize in the International Patent Invention Contest in Switzerland in 2010.
