Plus Banking Machines Co. has been the bellwether in the Korean market of financial office equipment, offering a broad spectrum of items, including banknote counters, suction currency counters, binding machines, strapping machines, paid
perforators, drilling machines and scanners, based upon technology accumulated over 19 years.
Meeting various foreign certifications like CE, CB, CSA and FCC, the maker’s two pocket discriminator, “P-624,” is gaining
great popularity worldwide, especially in Russia, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, Brazil and Eastern Europe.
Further efforts will be made to explore promising markets in the UK, Central and Southern Africa, Latin America and
Australia.
With an easy-to-read large LCD display, “P-624” uses image processing technology in doing currencydiscrimination
counting. The model guarantees excellent counterfeit detection as it employs combined technologies of ultraviolet,
fluorescent, magnetic, metallic and infrared sectors. Measuring 336 x 360 x 345mm, it weighs 16 kg.
It operates at a counting speed of 1,500 notes/min and a denomination speed of 1,000 notes/min.
The firm’s latest models gaining a high reputation both at home and abroad include “P-506A” a super counterfeit
detection counter and “P-506A Scan / P624S Scan” onepocket and two-pocket scanners. With denomination detection
function, “P-506A” can accumulate the number of counted notes. It runs at a counting speed of 1,800 notes/min.
With its built-in simplex contact image sensors, the company’s P-506A Scan and P624S Scan promise high-speed
scan and image transfer (within four seconds). Capable of recognizing serial numbers and barcodes, they provide a
function of denomination detection of US dollars and Euros.
