Samhyun, founded in 1988, has manufactured a range of vehicle motors under the international
standard quality control system such as ISO14001 and TS16949, and supplied to global companies
such as GM, HYUNDAI, DAEWOO, REMI, DELPHI, SAMSUNG, SONY, LG and DENSO, being recognized for

The Korea's leading BLDC motor and controller maker has concerted R/D endeavors in producing
the best light electric vehicle in the world. Finally, Samhyu launched its new E-bike Hirun,
equipped with BLDC (brushless DC) motors in 2006. Developed by Samhyun’s own technology,the BLDC
electric motor has the advantage of more torqueper weight and efficiency, less noise, longer life
time and more power than other products.
HIRUN E-Bike that features the BLDC motor and controller can drive from 30km to 100km and on
average about 35km as well as removable integrated lithium battery.
The electronic bicycle also provides three modes - manual, automatic and semi-automatic operation.

putting forth their strength, because HIRUN’s motor and controller are designed to be ideal for
land with uphill roads. As recognition for its high performance and eco-friendly quality, they are
being used by branch offices of Korea National Park Service.
Currently, Samhyun provides a variety of models of HIRUN electronic bikes, including ETU (SHEBOP01L)
which features Troque sensor system, 300W BLDE Hub geared motor and LiFePo4 battery, and can drive
40km.
The manufacturer says HIRUN E-Bike is also highly cost-effective since the monthly electric bill
for charging battery is just 1000 won (less than one dollar). This highperforming and energy-efficient
electric bike is exported to Europe, India and America.
