Conventional copy protection which has been mainly performed
using software-based technology is becoming ineffective nowadays as
cracking of such copy protection has also developed and become more
sophisticated.

The disk copy protection solution is effective against both illegal disk-to-disk copy, the most common method
of unauthorized copies done by using a burning tool to make unauthorized copies, and illegal DVD ripping (diskto-
