Taeyang Ind. is the largest portable butane gas cartridge maker in the
world, dominating around 70% of global market share as well as 80% of
domestic market share as of 2009. Equipped with advanced facilities
covering everything from cartridge printing and coating to gas charging,
the company exported its butane gas and cartridge more than 50 countries
under the brand name ‘SUN.’
Established in 1961, the company has more than 50 years of experience
in producing cartridges filled with butane gas. The company now operates
a high-speed welder (the only facility of its kind in the world), a gas-filler
line filling 650 cans per minute, four fuel tin can lines and two fuel-line filling lines.
In addition to manufacturing its own brand products such as butane gas cartridge, various empty cans, lighter
gas and general gas for mountain climbing, the company also operates an OEM line to produce hairspray, hair
mousse, aromatics, insecticides, cleaners, adhesives and all kinds of aerosol products, tailored to meet the needs
and requests of customers.
