Daewoong Bio Inc. is one of the largest raw material manufacturers for medicines in
Korea, providing top quality raw materials for medicines since 1982 to clients at home and
abroad.
Equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities such as spray dryer meeting
cGMP standards, the company has acquired various medicine-related certifications for its
products from Japan, Europe, Canada, India, Italy and Taiwan, starting with FDA
certification of Amoxycillne in 1994, an antibiotics raw material, by the FDA in the United
States.
After acquiring factories of Lily Korea and Roche Korea in early 2005 and 2007
respectively, and operating overseas factories in India and Indonesia, the company mainly
provides penicillin and cephalosporin antibiotics raw materials, including Cefodizime-Na,
Cefuroxime axetil, Cefodizime sodium, fluconazole, Mezlocillin sodium, Lansoprazole, Rabeprazole, Quetiapine,
and so forth.
The company expects sales revenues of US$200 million in 2010.
