Since its inauguration in 1983, Cape Industries Ltd. has constantly grown into a leading maker of cylinder liners both at home and abroad, with its customers including domestic and foreign ship owners and engine builders.
Cylinder liners from the maker range in inner diameter from 460mm to 980mm. (The firm is stressing production of large-size models with their diameters exceeding 900mm.) Until now, the manufacturer has exported mainly to European countries like Germany and the UK, but efforts are under way to make inroads in
Japanese market.
With ISO 9001 international certification, the company’s production capability has been proven by its close relations with Korea’s famous engine makers like Hyundai Heavy Industries and Doosan Engine Co., which have long purchased the cylinder liners for new building ships.
