Medison Co. has released ACCUVIX V10 as the newest addition to its high-end ultrasound product category ACCUVIX V. The new ultrasound system provides the optimal user interface, delivering efficient patient management and accurate diagnoses. It features a rotary slim high-definition LCD monitor and an ergonomic key panel with brand-new SRF (Speckle Reduction Filter).
Medison has made constant growth since it was founded in 1985, with the largest export volume and market share among the Korean manufacturers of ultrasound devices. It has overseas subsidiaries in 10 nations along with 100 sales dealers around the world. It gets about 80% of its total revenue from overseas markets. To enhance its technological edge, the company has put about 10% of its revenues into R&D investments. It also succeeded in commercializing 3D ultrasound technology for the first time in the world in 2000, which was highly rated by getting ¡®Product Differentiation & Innovation Award¡¯ from the U.S.-based medical consulting company Frost&Sullivan. According to 2004 Klein Report, published in 2005, Medison was selected as a company making the biggest growth, by recording an impressive 95% growth in 2004 in the U.S. market.
