Founded in Daejon, Korea in 1998, ASB Inc. supplies medium power amplifiers and radio frequency ICs designed for mobile handsets and infrastructures such as Cellular, PCS, IMT-2000, ITS-DSRC and wireless LAN.
Major products of the company includes Low Noise Amplifier & Linear Power Amplifier such as ASL226, ASL550 and ASX series, Low Noise Amplifier Modules, PLL Synthesizer, and RF Transceiver Modules such as 2.4 GHz Zigbeebased module(USM-series), GFSK module (UBM -series) and 5.8 GHz DSRC module (DSR-series). ASL226, a low noise amplifier, is internally matched RF LNA MMIC for use in GPS and mobile wireless equipment up to DC~6GHz with high gain and low NF. ASL550, another low noise amplifier from ABS, boasts low NF of 2.0 dB and CSO & CTB of 74 & 75 dBC, respectively, which is good for CATV 5~200MHz uplink and 50~1000MHz downlink application. ASL550 is widely used in CATV equipment such as drop-in amplifiers, fiber-to-the-home equipment (PON), etc. ASB now exports its products to China, Taiwan, India, Japan, Europe and North America. The company operates an MMIC circuit and RF module design center and in-house test facility, thus its products are engineered for the highest levels of quality and reliability. Clean room production line for MMIC/RF module test & assembly is equipped with fully automated or semi-automated machines and test equipments.
