Ranging from 10mm to 36mm in size, Shingi Acoustics’ micro speaker unit is widely used for reproducing sound for mobile phone, PC, notebook, game machine, PDA, navigation system, MP3 melody and so forth. Dynamic receiver unit of the company is a critical part of wire/wireless phone receiver, helping hear the other’s voice. The size of the product varies from 10 mm to 15 mm, and shipped in round, oval, oblong and rectangular in shape.
The company is one of the largest micro speaker and dynamic receiver manufacturer in Korea, providing the products to larger phone makers in Korea, including Samsung Electronics and Korea Telecom.
The vibration earphone equipped with the bone conduction feature is another main exhibit of the company for CeBit. Employing the vibration feature for earphones is the first of its kind in the world.
The vibration earphone combines both vibrator and speaker in one unit to allow users to “feel” stereophonic sound through vibration, while listening to the sound. The speaker & vibrator can finely transform all electrical signals consisting of sound sources into vibration, realizing the function of bone conduction. Bone conduction, a technology transmitting the vibration of the bone to auditory cochlea as a sound not passing the eardrum, is very useful for talking over the phone under noisy conditions and for communication with persons who have hearing difficulties due to eardrum damage.
Completely water-proof, the earphone can replace the conventional much bigger bone conduction headset, and used for cell phone, MP3 players, PMPs, and other audio devices, when watching movies, playing handheld games and listening to music.
Recently established new factories in Yentai and Weihai, China, the company is now capable of producing 6,600,000 pieces of the speaker/receiver unit and the earphone monthly.
