What is notable about the product is the advanced fuel cell sensor which features both accuracy and reliability. Measurement units can be selected from among %BAC, g/l, mg/l, mg/100ml and mg/l. Blowing time and beef alarm can also be adjustable by the user from 3 to 8 seconds and from 0.02%BAC to 0.08%BAC, respectively.
Alcoscent DA-8000 and DA-8100 is the first edition of the company’s breathalyzers using a fuel sensor.
This is the entry-level unit for professional use such as in clinics, screening and military and other sectors that require high accuracy and high reliability. Flow-error checking technology is applied ad user can adjust measurement unit, blow time, beef alarm and flow detection.
Alcoscent DA-7000 is an ideal solution for semi-professional and personal use. It offers 4-digit reliable accuracy by use of an advanced semiconductor sensor, and requires no calibration if one uses the precalculated sensor module which is provided by the manufacturer. Self-diagnostic function for the sensor lets the user know the right timing for re-calibration or changing the sensor module. Measurement unit adjustment is available.
Alcoscent DA-5000 is a standard edition of the company’s breathalyzers. It also uses an advanced semiconductor sensor, and requires no calibration if the pre-calculated sensor module is used. Easy-to-use operation by one button, 3-digit rubyed display and flow error checking technology are also available.
Alcoscent DA-3000 is the best choice for the entry-level user. It features a slim and sleek design, and offers easy operation with one button. A three-digit LCD display is available with backlit LCD, automatic power off and displays of total number of tests performed.
After receiving approval from the Food and Drug Administration in the United States, the company’s breathalyzers are now exported to various countries including Japan, Europe and the United States, gaining recognition in the local markets.
