At CeBit 2010, Gaon-InT Co., Ltd. (www.gaon-int.co.kr) will be exhibiting the Sound Fly Bluetooth, a wireless FM transmitter for vehicles.
Sound Fly Bluetooth (GBT-100KR) is a FM transmitter for use in cars. Employing Bluetooth technology for wireless communication, GBT-100KR transforms sound signals of various portable audio devices, such as MP3 players and CD players, into FM frequency, allowing users to hear the sound through the car audio system or home speakers, without the inconvenience of wearing earphones or headsets.
It also can be used as a hands-free device for mobile phone.
Gaon InT’s Sound Fly Bluetooth is a competitive and user-friendly product, capturing the lion’s share of the Korean market where users are particular about electronic appliances. The FM transmitter is also gaining popularity in Germany and Russia.
Connecting with USB and external hard disks, the GBT-100KR allows users to store up to about 2,000 pieces of music, and the indexing feature of the product makes it possible to sequence the pieces into what the users want for listening. The transmitter supports all of the 199 channels of FM and can programs up to seven stations of FM frequencies.
The best feature of the product is automatic connecting of phone calls while listening to music in the car. Conventional Bluetooth hands-free allows automatic connection only for redial and the receiving call, however, the Gaon’s Bluetooth model even allows calls from the user.
