ALA Revolution Gel® Photodynamic Therapy (ALA Revolution Gel® PDT) is an advanced treatment for acne. ALA Revolution Gel® PDT, a 2-part treatment course uses a light activated drug therapy to destroy acne.
Once the ALA Revolution Gel® is applied to the acne, the solution is absorbed into acne cells where it is converted to a chemical that makes the cells extremely sensitive to light. When the acne cells are exposed to PDT equipment (light), a reaction destroying the acne cells occurs.
The short, 2-part treatment course is convenient and fits busy lifestyle, with no downtime, no prescription to fill, excellent cosmetic response and no scarring reported to date. Patients treated with ALA Revolution Gel® PDT don’t have to avoid exposure of the photosensitized lesions to sunlight or prolonged or intense light.
The RED PEEL® is Red solution mixed with TCA (Trichloracetic Acid). These applications will lead to the removal of thin surface layers of aged and damaged
skin. Layers of dead skin cells exfoliate and are replaced by healthier ones allowing the skin’s own clarity and tightness to resurface.
