S. Korean IT Makers to Reaffirm Their Competitiveness at CeBIT2013 More than 90 South Korean companiesare slated to partake in this year edition of CeBIT. Scheduled to take place March 3- 9, CeBIT- which has been consistently known as one of the world¡¯s three largest IT and telecommunications exhibitions - will feature the largest-ever outputs in various aspects allowing Korean exhibitors to witness their maximized promotion outcomes.
KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Corporation) is officially organizing and helping the systematic preparation of Korean enterprises for the fair. The Korean companies specializing in such various areas of technology-intensive products as computer hardware, data security, information technology, Internet, IT service, card system, security system, remote telecommunication, computer software, network technology, security, finance technology, digital engineering, e-business, digital home appliances, internet technology, UMTS, navigation, online industries, new ubiquitous devices, etc. will be showcasing their flagship items that are finely tuned to active exploration of new foreign markets, thus boosting the global presence of their products.
A spokesperson for the organizers of CeBIT 2013 said, ¡±During the fair, some 100 Korean companies will be at the upcoming CeBIT with Samsung Electronics¡¯semiconductor division having a booth, as well as IBM, Dell, Google, Microsoft and Intel.
The plan of Samsung Electronics was outlined by a spokesperson of the fair that it will strengthen its image of newly concentrating on IT business as a new flagship business through massively expanding its exhibition area of 1,000m2. In CeBIT2012, the global IT behemoth has extensively shown its competitiveness in such areas of B2B mobile, printer, display, etc.
