The biggest local auto aftermarket show holds its 6th exhibition in March 2012 and is likely to create another
sensation for the auto aftermarket in Korea AutomotiveWeek 2012, the biggest auto aftermarket show
in South Korea, will be held from March 23rd through 25th at KINTEX.
This year’s edition of the Show mainly consists of auto repair and maintenance show, “Auto Service Korea”
and tuning, custom, camping and motorsports show “The Tuning Show.”
The theme for this time will be “SMART Autoservice,” which represents the ongoing new trend of efficient
car-management and the environmentally friendly auto aftermarket in Korea.
The show will create sensation with the variety of new products and technology representing the theme.
Last year’s show was a huge success, drawing 201 exhibitors from 16 countries and over 50,000 visitors.
Among the various events that were held in the exhibition, the biggest successes were with the business
trade meetings. More than 500 buyers visited during the show and over 60 buyers from 23 companies in seven
different countries participated in the formal trade meetings. Many major deals were signed and it is expected
that there will be even more delegations coming for this year’s event.
With huge success from last year, the 6th edition of AutomotiveWeek will be more specialized
and internationalized. Concurrently scheduled events such as Drift Demo Run, Car Maintenance Festival,
Auto Mechanic Contest event will not only provide chances for the industries to take part, but also attract
many visitors.
