Consumption spending on leisure is on the increase, as income levels are going up and people enjoy
more spare time in Korea.
At the same time, people have been enjoying various choices of sports and leisure from fitness and
extreme to outdoor sports in Korea as they have growing interests in well-being life style and their
health.
It is natural that the steadily growing Korean market has attracted leading companies in the field,
which are eager to attract the local consumers with novel and better-performing products.
Based on new ideas and technologies, Korea's leisure and sports goods companies have presented
new items with special features and upgraded functions, wining attention of only only locals but
also overseas consumers. Some have made successfully advanced into the global markets. Others

Hanbyul specializes in healthcare products, and is an exporter of Korean medical supplements to markets around theworld. The company develops and manufactures exercise and therapy equipment as well as nutritionaland dietary supplements.Doligo is a high stretching sporting therapy and exercise device currently under domestic and foreign patent registrations.

Established in 2008, CR Medi is a therapeutic equipment manufacturer in Korea, aiming to combine IT and VR games with its sports therapeutic equipment. This Korean company has developed a multi-therapeutic exerciser named ¡°Synchro Balancer.¡±

Cuu:B, a company that has focused on nextgeneration portable terminals since 2007, has released the latest version of Pocket GPS S1, which is for leisure purposes. The S1 is a very useful pocket GPS for people to take along when they go fishing, camping, cycling or other outdoor activities.

Snowline Co. manufactures and exports joint protect products, including Soft, Trekker and climbing crampons as well as other products like pressure cookers for outdoor use. The snowline pressure cooker weighs just 860g, being suitable for camping and outdoor activity.

Developed and designed through Buzrun¡¯s own technology, Python Binding provides the fastest, easiest and most convenient systemized binding. It isexpected that Python Binding will revolutionize the field of snowboard binding and the snowboard market.

Founded in 2009, Poweride Inc. is a Korean company that specializes in developing and manufacturing hybrid electric bikes and intelligent E-bike rental systems. Poweride has focused on the localization of key components of bicycles in Korea where many of the bicycle components are still imported, and the company¡¯s localization percentage of the hybrid electric bike components now reaches 85 percent.

With 29 years of experience, Kovea Co.specializes in portable butane gas appliances for outdoor use such as when mountain climbing, fishing and picnicking. The company manufactures and exports more than 60 models of portable gas stoves, lamps and torches on a basis of research development and technical engineering of high performance outdoor equipment.
