One of the world¡¯s biggest events in the field of IT, CommunicAsia2010 is scheduled to be held at Expo, Hall 3-6 in Singapore from June 15 through 18, this year.

The main event, together with BroadcastAsia2010, is expected to span at least 58,000 square meters of exhibition space.

First-time participants, including a group from Bangladesh and another led by India¡¯s Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC), are preparing well for their initial stage.
Thanks to Korea¡¯s leading position in the global Internet industry, Asia is currently spearheading the growth of broadband worldwide over the past few years. According to the technology analyst firm Gartner, Korea¡¯s broadband penetration will reach 93 percent in 2013.
Whether it is with market leaders introducing the latest products or smaller enterprises showcasing their innovative solutions, the global ICT, media and broadcasting communities, all of which are reportedly scheduled to participate in the amazing upcoming big event, are expected to strive to set up a cooperative relationship with Korean globally competitive companies over the area.
In 2009, 109 Korean companies and more than 1,300 Korean professionals took part in the exhibition, which attracted over 54,000 trade attendees from all over the globe. This year, the event will once again see a strong presence from Korea with the participation of Samsung Electronics and individual players like ACETEL, Ilsintech, Intellian Technologies, KNET, KNS and PhilTech. The Korean group pavilion, led by KOTRA, SBA and new entrant GITCT, will form one of the largest group contingents at the exhibition space.
The Korea Digital Convergence Association (KODICA) will return for its eighth participation in BroadcastAsia2010. The KODICA pavilion will feature industry leaders specializing in the field of IPTV, Mobile TV, character generators, broadcasting equipment, solutions and related systems. Returning exhibitors including CIS Technology, DARIM Vision,
KAONMEDIA and OpenTech, while new entrants include Compix, Fortis and BS MediaSoft.
