Sambo Motos, which was established in 1977, has grown into one of the leading companies producing auto transmission components, with the independently developed Fine Blanking System based on automobile transmission products and engine fuel system products.
Sambo Motos has succeeded in localization of auto transmission components for the first time in Korea. The maker produces plates with various thicknesses by using the fine blanking press. Basically, cleanly sheared edges and excellent
flatness are guaranteed. The elimination of secondary operations makes prices more competitive, because of the fine blanking technology.
With the annual production capacity of 70 million ea, the company meets the demands from both the domestic market and offshore market. The most advanced automatic plate inspection system consists of a vision tester, thickness inspector, auto feeder, and auto stacker.
The subcontracted services, heat treatment, barrel and E-coating are basically provided. As a world-class Tier-1 supplier, the firm has been exporting auto transmission plate to Japan, China, America, etc.
The maker has already achieved outstanding outcomes including export volume and is currently managing to grow by around 20 percent every year.
