The packaged power station developed by Hyundai Heavy Industries is a power facility that employs diesel engines and operates using heavy oil and light oil.
The power station is the world’s first packaged one to use diesel oil to drive it. Utilizing 40 containers, the power plant contains all equipment for normal operation. So, the operators can easily shift and install it.
Currently, HHI manufactures the only packaged power station in the world. So, now the facility is briskly exported to foreign markets especially in Central and South America and the Middle East.
So far, HHI shipped a total of 644 units of packaged power stations to Cuba. The successfully delivered power stations played a crucial role in addressing the severe power shortages of the nation.
