Launched in 1985, Moatech is a specialist producer of different kinds of small precision motors such as stepping motors, BLDC motors, actuators, solenoids, dampers, etc. The company has proudly released on the market its flagship small precision motor dubbed “Stepping Motor.”
With fixed rotation angle per input signal unlike the conventional general motors, the motor offers excellent responsiveness in the functional aspects of “start,” “stop,” “backlashing,” and “normal rotation,” thus helping position itself as an appropriate motor for controlling position.
It comes in three types of motors - LS type (for identifying the locations of the files stored at ODD, such as CD-R, DVD, etc.), SP type (for controlling the sheet-feeding devices such as printers, faxes, all-in-one imaging devices, etc.), and geared type (for controlling air conditioner louvers). The maker has also released high-end motors applying the principle of stepping motors, such as AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System) for cars and BLDC motors for use in printers and HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) systems.
As of 2010, the company had a production capacity of approximately 20 million units of stepping motor on a monthly average basis. The products manufactured through the overseas factories in China are being briskly exported especially to Japan, China, Taiwan, and the U.S.A.
