Since its foundation in 1970, Zeus has been working with Korea’s top semiconductor, LCD, LED, renewable energy and IT companies to provide a wide variety of production solutions.
In the past four decades Zeus has developed an extensive product range that includes semiconductor production equipment, components and materials; solar cell production equipment; equipment and components for flat panel display (FPD manufacturing such as in-line transfer systems, thermal process equipment, and inspection equipment; vacuum pumps and gauges; and a wide range of factory automation equipment such as PLCs, motors, and visual inspection systems.
In 2001 Zeus received the “World-Class Product” designation for its hot/cool plate system, a new manufacturing concept that can be used with LCD production lines handling 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th-generation glasses.
Zeus’ HP/CP system has a small carbon footprint and is designed to remove fumes generation inside the system, thus improving safety and equipment cleanliness.
The plate heater maintains a fixed temperature on the large plate. Applications include HP/CP (DHP) process after glass cleaning, pre-baking HP/CP (SHP) after glass coating, and HP/CP (HHP) after developing.
As one of Korea’s oldest semiconductor and display manufacturing equipment companies, Zeus counts among its main clients Korea’s top electronics and IT companies including Samsung Electronics, Hynix, LG Display, Samsung Mobile Display, and Samsung LED.
Major foreign clients include BOE, AUO, InnoLux, and Hann Star. The company current enjoys a 40% share of the global HP/CP system market.
