Founded in 1987, Dong-Yang Electric Co. is a company that focuses on a single product: thermal links. Thermal links are designed to protect electronic devices from damage caused by overheating, which might cause serious harm to the device as well as create a fire hazard.
Thermal links are used in a wide variety of devices, from home appliances such as toasters, ovens and food processors to batteries, power cords, condensers, power strips and other power supply devices, office machines, and key automotive components such as motors and transmissions.
Dong-Yang Electric Co. received its UL mark in 1988, a year after its establishment, and received the EM (Excellent Machine) mark in 1996. In 1999 the company was selected as a “Promising Small & Medium Enterprise” by Gyeonggi Province, and received ISO 9001 certification in 2001.
The company exports its key products to markets in Europe and Asia including Hong Kong and China.
