designed to provide essential nutrients to plants. Contributing to such a revolution, Korea’s HeeSung wants to take charge of the future of the fertilizer industry. Settled first in 2005, HeeSung Ltd. as a small business firm has made remarkable
progress; it has capacity to produce and supply up to 100,000 mega tons per year. However, in order to meet future demand, the company is planning to add up manufacturing facilities. International certificates such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 have solidly backed up product quality for over 7 years. HeeSung’s organic fertilizers are main items that can help farmers yield quality harvests with better nutrition, improved soil condition, and no harmful residues. Two different types exist: liquid and solid. For solid fertilizers, there are Organic, Mixed Organic, Plus Organic, Born Powder Organic, Natural Compost Mix, Amino Acid Organic, and EM Manure. High quality organic fertilizer is made from vegetable sources, and helps soil fertility last long while controlling the salinity level. Also it can recover degraded soil, enhance the absorption of nutrients, and stimulate roots to grow. Regarding the liquid fertilizers, HeeSung offers Silica Gold, Organic Cal, Amino Forte, Control, and Coloring. Silica Gold as a functional fertilizer is consisted of water-soluble silica and potassium, and effectively prevents plants from losing moisture and nutrients. It also enhances taste, smell, and color for fruits and vegetables.
