GETEC began its mission first in 2001. Since then, the company has worked on several pollution prevention projects in Korea by supplying proper resources based on its officially approved technologies (ISO 9001:2000). Having licenses regarding preventing and treating various pollutions, GETEC has been fairly competitive in developing and applying environmental technologies not only at home but for few overseas markets in Africa and Asia. There are three major fields that GETEC deals with : Air Pollution Control, Water Treatment, and Landfill Management. Taking on Air Pollution Control for dust particles, mist, VOCs, harmful gases, etc., the firm provides devices such as cost-effective and efficient bag filters, wet scrubbers applicable to high temperature gas, acid gas, combustible & explosive dust, etc., simple adsorption towers with 100% efficiency, oil mist collectors, and cyclones for large-size dust and dust loads. GETEC introduces Chemical Treatment Plant that offers easy installation and operation, and also features high efficient Biological Treatment Plant for recalcitrant waste water, high organic & nitrogen waste water, and so on. Especially, its MBBR(Moving Bed Biological Reactor) technology helps a biological wastewater treatment to run with efficiency. Major features include the reduction of sludge from treatment plant, requiring smaller space and shorter construction period, high treatment efficiency & stability for organic matters in wastewater, and more.
