System’.
This technology has competitiveness enough to be widely promoted among global aficionados as it has a
capacity to resolve the tag-collision, the demerit of the existing UHF RFID technology.
This newly unveiled visible RFID reader using visible beams supports a function that helps recognition of what
users wanted. As its own technology, this helps users instinctively read what they wanted to tag by only lighting.
In particular, this technology is very useful when users only want to read one unique tag among many adjacent
tags.
Under the existing RFID technology, the system error occurrence caused by reading unwanted adjacent tags
together is frequent. So very complex and time-consuming tasks are further required including very precise power
control, installation of electromagnetic shielding material, etc.
IDRO’s visible RFID technology is a solution that can fundamentally solve such matters, just by lighting on the
desired tag. Tags can be operated for up to four years with the use of battery-supported active type or low powerconsuming
technology.
This visible RFID technology is especially practical in applications of process management, conveyor control,
and management of facilities. Operators can radically decrease system errors incurred by recognizing unwanted
adjacent tags by using this groundbreaking technology.
What’s more, the IDRO visible RFID reader also supports existing ISO 18000-6C/EPC C1G2 so that it helps
users selectively choose functions they require. Based upon its own technology of visible light communication
systems, this visible RFID reader solution, which delivers messages through LED, permits users to enjoy more
freedom of use.
IDRO has an existing flagship fixed RFID Reader ‘IDRO900F’ that supports a function of recognition of
hundreds of multiple tags, so it is being actively used in applications of factory automation, access management,
library management, etc. in replacing existing barcodes. In addition, the provider retains RFID Leader technology
using visible rays and RF waves, designed for long-distance. IDRO is further seeking arious ways to satisfy its
global customers in a more extended wireless telecommunication range than ever.
