Korea¡¯s Largest Giftware Show to Generate Business Opportunities
In fall every year, a comprehensive array of newest gift items and household goods are displayed at the Seoul Gift Show, a
major promotional and gift items show in Korea, attracting many buyers and visitors.
Seoul Gift Show 2011 is scheduled to open on October 6 and run through October 9 at Hall A, Coex (Convention &
Exhibition Center) in Seoul.
As about 450 companies at home and abroad have decided to participate in the upcoming show, the exhibition will be
bigger than any of its previous editions, providing the participating companies with plenty of business opportunities. The
organizers predict that the show will attract about 25,000 visitors this year.
Co-hosted by the Korea Federation of Handicrafts Cooperatives and Seoul Metropolitan Government, the annual event has
become Korea's largest trade fair for toys, gifts, premiums, and household products, and at the same time one of the most
effective trading platforms for manufacturers to meet international buyers.
The organizers say that the booths have been fully booked since 2007 despite some unfavorable factors such as global
economic slowdown and 550 booths will be set up at the exhibition venue this year.
The wide range of top products on display has attracted a growing numbers of buyers year by year.
Specifically, the exhibition items will be categorized into gifts, premiums & souvenirs, decorative products & handicrafts,
