The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS 2010) will be held at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL USA from
Sept. 13-18, 2010, with more than 1,100 exhibitors and over 92,000 visitors expected, including buyers and sellers from over 116
countries. The event, one of the world largest industrial trade shows, is officially sponsored by the Association for
Manufacturing Technology (AMT).
During the event, manufacturing industry professionals from all over the world are expected to attend the exhibition to see
firsthand the latest trends in more than 15,000 new machine tools, controls, computers, software, components, systems and
processes all of which can contribute to the enhancement of their business efficiency, while gaining valuable ideas and insights
from over 1,100 of the world¡¯s leading equipment manufacturers.
Notably, over 1,100 exhibitors from the metalworking industry will unveil their outstanding products and solutions for
increasing productivity. The scheduled equipment categories for display include metal cutting from machining centers and
assembly automation to flexible manufacturing systems and lathes, tooling & workholding systems such as features jigs,
fixtures, cutting tools of all types and related accessories, alternative manufacturing processes such as waterjet, plasma-arc and
laser systems, welding equipment, heat treating and more.
All visitors can preview experimental equipment and processes still in development, obtaining in advance cutting-edge
ideas for the future. Also, during the exhibition, all participants are recommended to gain more knowledge from the many
seminars scheduled to be focused on improving production and operations.
